Paris throwback

This weeks post was an absolute no brainer since I’ve recently booked a trip back to paris/Disney land for february, and to Disney world Florida and Las Vegas next summer!

For my birthday present last year Billy booked to take me to Disney land Paris this January. We were to stay for 2 nights, having the first full day in Disney and the second in Paris.

We stayed at the Kyriad Hotel within the Disney complex, and although it wasn’t an official Disney hotel it still had all the character and the magic you’d want!

We flew to Beauvais airport and had to get a train into Paris, and then the RER (like a fancy tram) to Disney Land. It was all extremely simple to do, and honestly so much cheaper and easier than doing this kind of thing in England, despite the language barrier. Once we arrived we got changed and headed straight out for a look round the resturats and shops. We finally settled on Planet Hollywood as Billy had never been, but it’s basically an American resturant that does burgers, fajitas and that kind of food.

We woke us early the next day to headed to Disney land park, which is where the real magic began. I felt like a little kid again travelling around with all the music, and just the general feeling of magic everywhere!! It was ice cold aswell which made it even more spectacular. We did pretty much all the rides and all the sights before walking across to Walt Disney Studios.

We got to see the new starwars parade which was amazing! You haven’t experienced anything until you’ve seen a Disney parade!! They are amazing and magical. However, absolutely nothing beats the Castle light show at the end of the day, just before the park shuts on Main Street. The whole castle takes part in a light show with music and projections from various Disney films, and finishing with fireworks. We ended the night with a lovely meal at the Rainforest cafe before going back to the hotel for a well needed sleep.

Our last day was spent wandering around Paris and doing a full tour in roughly 8 hours. We went to visit the Notre Dame, the Eifel tower, arc de triumph and shopped down the Champ de elysees. Of corse we also visited the Hard Rock Cafe, which as I mentioned in my Rome post, we go to in every city we visit.

I had an absolutely amazing time, and can’t thank Billy enough. As I mentioned we are heading back again next year and I CANT WAIT!!
