SO I’m back after my Christmas break. We’re a few days into 2018 already and I’ve seen tonnes of the resolution stuff already. I’m not really into the whole “New Years resolution” or “New year new me” as I don’t think that after a month they are achievable. But I do have some goals that I’ve set my self.
Go to new places and travel more
I absolutely love travelling and going to new places, but I don’t get to do this as much as I would like. 2018 is already looking promising however with new adventures already lined up.
Be more adventurous
I mean literally everything with this. Be more adventurous with food, with clothes, with make up, everything! I’m not the type of person who sticks to one thing anyone, but I’d like to make more of a conscious effort to be adventurous.
I love reading, and I have a huge shelf of books already lined up for me to read. I just feel that I don’t have time to read. But I’m going to make an effort to read as much as I can as it’s something I throughly enjoy! Especially a good thriller.
See my family more
Living away from home I can go months without seeing my family as we have completely different schedules. I miss them all so much though and want too see them more. I’m going to try and see them at least once a month.
Bag myself a job to be proud of
As I graduate this year I’m currently looking for jobs (with no idea of where to start). I want something that’s going to want to make me get up in the morning and not dread Monday’s (ambitious I know). I also want to make myself and everyone around me proud!
The generic “get fit”
I used to love running and be really good at it, so I want to start again. Since my fitness is probably horrific it’s going to take some time but I’m pretty good at self motivation. Once it gets to spring and depending on how I’m doing, I plan to enter one of the organised runs in Sheffield to motivate me further. This is partially about fitness but mainly as a hobby and doing something I enjoy!
Do more with my time off
Working in a resturant my time off can be anything from a Monday morning to a Saturday night. Often if i don’t have a weekend off or a night when Billy or one of my friends is off I find my self not really doing much other than little odd jobs or work. I want to change this and do something more, I’m not sure of what yet but I will think of it (such as my running).
Expand my blog and reach a larger audience
My blog is still a baby really, since I only began in September. But it has come a long way! I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings for it.
I hope this hasn’t bored you too much but I tried to be as un-generic as possible. Here’s to great and exciting 2018.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
